How Knowing Puts the Ball in Your Court

Aw I hate when so much time goes by between blogs. I hope everyone knows that doesn't mean the astrological fun stops. C'mon now, I'm a Sadge- can't stop, won't stop, eh-eh, eh-eeh:)

No I am always busy learning more about astrology. I actually picked up two mega books today from Borders (which I totally could not afford), Birthdays, Stars, and Numbers and Bernie Ashman's SignMates. While viewing my birth date, December 19, in the birthday book, I decided I would only buy this if it was totally accurate and told me something I hadn't already seen about myself in print. Well it went above and beyond. This is what sold me:

"Linked to your Sun's degree, this star encourages you to pursue a career in higher education [in case I forgot to mention, I am a teacher], writing [HELLO!], publishing [BLOG!], or the legal profession [and finally a miss!]. Usually Etamin [my primary star's influence] imparts an assertive and determined nature with interest in unusual subjects, ideas, and issues [ASTROLOGY!]." (pg. 602).

Ashman's book, Signmates, caught my eye because most of what everyone asks me in astrology (unfortunately at times) has to do with significant others and their relationships. Pisces have even been known to recommend dating services that are based on individuals signs- man the success I could have with that business! (Remember, signs don't lie, people!) More importantly, when I stumbled on the Sadge page it read:

"An answer for Jeopardy could be, 'This sign of the zodiac known for being the traveler, gypsy, optimistic, clown, and benefactor; The question is, 'What is a Sagittarius?'" (pg. 30)

Yes-Yes-Yes! Love it! The clincher for me was the author's admittance to the fact that he too is a Sagittarius. I look forward to reading his perspective in SignMates, as I'm sure we will have similar opinions:)

So when this final week of online graduate classes are complete (this is the finally Week 9, the end!) I will be doing nothing except studying astrology and music...and job hunting of course! Expect to report back to a new and improved, steady streaming blog!

Today's General Horoscope: A restless Aries Mercury turns retrograde, remaining in that position until April 23. It's tough to complete thoughts, but then there might be something confusing about questions and answers anyway. People's hearts are on their sleeves and they respond emotionally to life under tonight's Pisces Moon.

Funny. Now that I know we are in Aries and Mercury means 'communication', I can relate since I did converse with a dear Aries, LR, today. We spent the afternoon together running a muck (buying things we did not need). We tend to see each other often this time a year. (Perhaps more strongly until April 23 and I never realized it?)

People's hearts are on their sleeves tonight, in Pisces Moon? Well I do have plans with a certain Pisces tonight that I am looking forward to. I will have to get back to that one;)

Very Interesting.

Hey- if you're not buying into my astrological brouhaha that's too bad. The point of all this is to learn more about oneself and others. Accept it. I believe that if I ultimately master this language and science that I will be able to have better control over my GPS in life. Because being in the know- puts the ball in your court. And these days, I couldn't feel more like a Harlem Globetrotter getting it all right. (Can't stop-won't stop....eh-eh, eh-ehh!)

And if you just want to follow the star's plan- flip a coin and see which way you end up:)
